Are you a last minute shopper/cookie baker/present wrapper like me?
I can't go shopping for you or wrap your presents for that matter, but I can at least help you in the cookie department.
I have one more quick and easy recipe for yall that I wanted to get to you before the big day!
Chocolate Cookie Bark
Covers 1 cookie sheet
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate, melted
2 cups white chocolate, melted
10 mint oreos, crushed
1/2 cup holiday M&Ms
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Mix crushed oreos with white chocolate.
Place spoonfuls of chocolate mixtures on parchment paper, alternating chocolates.
Using a knife, cut through spoonfuls creating a marbling effect and smoothing chocolates together.
Sprinkle M&Ms over bark and lightly press into chocolate.
Place in refrigerator for about an hour or until firm.
Remove from fridge and break into pieces.
And here's a little recap of some effortless holiday favorites!
And there you have it folks.. Christmas is right around the corner and I still have a lot of cleaning and prepping to do before both sets of parents get here!
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday spent with plenty of friends and family. I can't wait to see what Santa brings everyone :)
Happy Holidays!
and
Happy Baking!

Thanks for all the ideas, Evan! I shared your blog with my coworkers this week and they loved it! Merry Christmas :)
Oh yeah, I'm in the last minute crowd this year. I haven't wrapped a thing and I made my first batch of Christmas cookies last night (more to come, surely).
The cookie bark sounds excellent! As soon as I saw it my mind went to pretzel M&M's. I'm going to make some and top it with Christmas pretzel M&M's!
the best ones? The ones I got :) Just so you know, the day after I got them, the box was empty :)
Is eating cookies at 8am acceptable?
I love these quick recipes, perfect for last minute baking! Although you reminded me here, I've still got my eye on those peanut butter bars, yum!
Wow, someone certainly has been a busy elf in the kitchen!!! I wish I was your neighbor so i could come knocking any time I smelled some cookies baking in the oven.

Evan, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family!
Sounds delicious! I wish I had some of this right now.
Great cookies! Our Santa got some old fashioned sugar cookies (my great-aunts recipe from my childhood). Santa would have loved it if I had made that bacon caramel corn...
Hi Evan-Love the chocolate bark, made with all the yummy ingredients...I'm sure that was Santa's favorite too, although all the other cookies were so delicious, as well!
So sorry about the loss of your relative too. So sad, when it happens around the holiday!
Hope you had a joyous Christmas around your family, and friends!
I'm still eating Christmas cookies...and I probably will be for the next week. I love all the goodies you included in your post. So good! So tempting! I hope you have a wonderful week, my friend. Many blessings as the new year approaches. Thank you for sharing this sweetness!
